This Chilean sea bass air fryer recipe is not only keto friendly, it’s gluten free as well. It makes for a wonderful week night meal that you can have in less than thirty minutes. You can also easily double the amount of fish for additional servings. If you’re not using an air fryer, all of my recipes can also be made on a sheet pan in the oven by adding 50 degrees.

Notes

All air fryers cook at different speeds.  These recipes are meant to be a general guide.  Cooking times depend on various factors including thickness, cut, and type of meat used.  I use an Instant Pot Vortex Plus shelf air fryer.  If you’re using something different, especially a bucket type air fryer, I advise keeping an eye on food so it doesn’t under, or overcook.

Would I increase the time for Sea bass that is 1 pound?

    1. I’d start with that time, and check if it’s flaky afterwards. If not, then I’d slowly add more to it.

  3. I tried the recipe for Air Fryer Chilean Sea Bass, but substituted Corvina. It came out great, except I wonder if there is a misprint. It came out very spicy (hot) & I scraped off most of the oil mixture. I thought 2 tsp of pepper sounded like way too much, so I only put about 1.5 tsp on, which was still too much, especially with the cayenne pepper.

    1. I’m personally a big pepper fan. If you aren’t, toning it down is probably a good idea. It’s all about personal taste, so folks that aren’t into a little spice…this is a great comment.

I just cooked following the recipe with 2 modifications: cooked only for 15′ and didn’t use the Herbs De Provence. it turned out so good: delicious, juicy.. from now on this will be our go to fish recipe. Thank you so much for sharing this wonderful yet simple recipe!

    1. So glad you liked it!!

    2. So glad you enjoyed it!

  5. I was confused by the directions. You say to heat up air fryer and prepare the oil rub with garlic and herbs. Then it says pour wine over fish and then apply rub and place in glass dish. Does the glass dish then go in the air fryer?

  6. Penelope Mach says:

Thus was fantastic! Followed recipe and air fried for 10 minutes. Perfectly cooked. Loved the fresh garlic and herbs de Provence. Will make again!

    1. Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it!
