Healthy Air Fryer Keto & Gluten Free Old Bay Shrimp

This super simple snack is one of the easiest and fastest recipes to make, but it packs big taste! It’s also an impressive appetizer to serve for guests that will allow you to spend time with them, and not in the kitchen. An added bonus of cooking smaller portions is a small bill at the grocery. Without having to buy Old Bay or skewers, this dish costs around two dollars to make.

This recipe takes less than five minutes to cook and only has two ingredients, tastes out of this world, and is surprisingly healthy. Old Bay shrimp is not only keto friendly, it’s gluten free as well. This makes for a wonderful weeknight meal or snack, and you can easily double the amount of shrimp for additional serving. If you’re not using an air fryer, all of my recipes can also be made on a sheet pan in the oven.

Ingredients:

  • Eight medium shrimp (41-50 count)
  • Old Bay seasoning
  • Wood Skewers

Instructions:

  1. Thaw, remove shells, and clean eight medium sized shrimp.
  2. Run water over wood skewers, and thread four shrimp per skewer.
  3. Sprinkle Old Bay seasoning on both sides of shrimp.
  4. Preheat air fryer or oven to 400 degrees.
  5. Cook shrimp for four minutes, flipping halfway through (for larger shrimp, you may want to increase cooking time).

LL, I do not…but, that’s really a great idea. I’m still figuring things out, so hopefully you’ll be able to see things improve quickly here. 😀
