Equipment
- Air Fryer or Oven (please adjust oven temp up 50 degrees for the same results)
Ingredients
- 1 New York Strip Steak
- 4 tbsp Red Wine Vinaigrette
- 1 half Red Onion
- 5 oz Baby Romaine one store bought container
- 2 oz Smoked Bleu Cheese approximately half a 5oz package (regular bleu cheese can also be used)
- 5 oz Grape Tomatoes approximately half a 10oz package
- 1 handful walnuts I already had walnuts, but sunflower seeds can also be used
Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to 400 degrees. While you are waiting, season the steak with salt and pepper.
- Air fry the steak for 9 minutes.
- Dice one half of a red onion, and slice grape tomatoes in half. Add to a large salad bowl with a handful of walnuts or sunflower seeds and half a package of bleu cheese crumbles.
- Add baby romaine to the bowl, coat with red wine vinaigrette, and toss to combine.
- Let the steak rest for five minutes before thinly slicing.
- Top the salad with the slices of steak and additional bleu cheese crumbles.
