Air Fryer Steak Recipes
Quick & Easy Air Fryer Steak Recipes
- 1 steak (ribeye, New York strip, or top sirloin) between three quarters and one pound each
Take steak out of the refrigerator and season with salt and pepper.
Allow steaks to sit at room temperature for thirty minutes.
Preheat your air fryer or oven to 400 degrees.
Cook the steak on the highest shelf or closest to the source of heat.
Let the steak rest for half of the cooking time.
All air fryers cook at different speeds. These recipes are meant to be a general guide. Cooking times depend on various factors including thickness, cut, and type of meat used. I use an Instant Pot Vortex Plus shelf air fryer. If you're using something different, especially a bucket type air fryer, I advise keeping an eye on food so it doesn't under, or overcook.
- Ribeye ten minutes for medium rare, 12 minutes for medium, and 14 minutes for medium well.
- New York strip 8 minutes for medium rare, 9 minutes for medium, and 10 minutes for medium well.
- Top sirloin 5 minutes for medium rare, 6 minutes for medium, and 7 minutes for medium well (note, these steaks were thinner than the ribeye and New York strips).
